Dr. Thiago Moulin is an ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained cataract and refractive surgeon at Premier Florida Vision, serving patients across Plantation, Fort Lauderdale, and South Florida. Known for his precision, advanced surgical skill, and compassionate approach, Dr. Moulin specializes in cataract surgery, refractive vision correction, and the treatment of complex ocular surface diseases such as dry eye syndrome and pterygium. His mission is to help every patient achieve clearer vision and a better quality of life through personalized, technology-driven eye care.

Originally from Brazil, Dr. Moulin earned his medical degree from the University of São Paulo, one of Latin America’s most prestigious medical institutions. His passion for innovation brought him to the United States, where he advanced his expertise in ophthalmology and data science research, contributing to several peer-reviewed publications that have influenced modern surgical techniques and patient outcomes in eye care.

Dr. Moulin completed his ophthalmology residency at Washington University in St. Louis, where he was recognized with multiple awards, including the Doris and Harry Wexler Research Award and the Service Award for excellence in clinical care and patient service. He then pursued a highly competitive fellowship in cataract, refractive, and ocular surface surgery, training under world-renowned surgeons Dr. Robert Weinstock and Dr. Neel Desai.

Today, Dr. Moulin brings his advanced skillset to South Florida, offering procedures such as laser-assisted cataract surgery, premium intraocular lens (IOL) implantation, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). His approach blends the latest medical technology with a genuine dedication to patient education, ensuring that each individual understands their options and receives care tailored to their unique vision needs.

Fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, Dr. Moulin connects easily with patients from diverse backgrounds and is deeply committed to providing accessible, world-class eye care to the South Florida community.
